Together as spirits, they visit Otsuyu’s lover, Shinzaemon. Believing Otsuyu is alive, Shinzaemon rekindles their relationship, but he soon begins to waste away. A concerned neighbor consults a doctor, who reveals that Shinzaemon is being haunted and his death is near.
