Their local guide, Nova, explains the significance of the upcoming Nyepi Day — Bali's sacred Day of Silence, when all forms of eating, pleasure, travel and even lights must cease. While exploring the island, Tae-pyeong accidentally breaks a mysterious urn, triggering a series of strange and terrifying events that soon force them to violate the sacred rules of Nyepi Day against their will. As reality warps around them, Tae-pyeong begins to realize that a far more sinister force is at play — one that may not let them leave the island alive.
